How to Color Code Emails in Gmail
Gmail offers a convenient way to color code your emails, helping you to quickly identify important messages and easily scan through your inbox. To assign a color to an email, open the message, click the three dots in the top right corner and select the ‘Label’ option. You can then choose to either create a new label or select an existing one.
Create a New Label
To create a new label, click the ‘Create new’ button. You can then choose to give your label a name, and assign a color to it. Once you have done this, click the ‘Create’ button and your label will be saved.
Assign a Color to an Existing Label
If you already have labels set up in Gmail, you can assign a color to them. To do this, open the message, click the three dots in the top right corner and select the ‘Label’ option. You can then select an existing label and assign a color to it.
Color Coding Emails with Labels
Once you have created a label or assigned a color to an existing one, you can color code emails with this label. To do this, open the message, click the three dots in the top right corner and select the ‘Label’ option. You can then select the label you want to use and the email will be marked with this color.
